Thomas is a Partner and Global Head of GP Capital Advisory. He is a member of the firm's Management Committee, Chairman of the GPCA New Business Committee, member of the Secondary New Business Committee and of the Primary Business Committee. He is also responsible for new business Initiatives for the firm which he joined in 2007.
Thomas has over 27 years' experience and acts as a trusted advisor to CEOs, Founders, Managing Partners and leadership teams of private markets focused GP and Asset Management firms.
Across his career, he has advised on over 150 private capital mandates involving GP M&A, minority/GP stakes and secondary transactions, including several global award-winning transactions in Europe and in North-America, featured in the 2025 GP Stakes News Survey. He has led mandates for Actis/General Atlantic, ADIC, AP Fonden, Arena Investors, Ardian, AXA IM, Bex Capital, Blue Owl, Bridgepoint, CDC, CNP, Dextra Partners, Epiris, Eurazeo, GBL, GE pensions, Hermes GPE, HV Capital, Infranity, I Squared, KIO, Manulife IM, Meridiam Infrastructure, MML Capital, Mubadala, Natixis IM, Nordea AM, Oaktree Capital, Polaris Capital, Providence Equity, Quadrille Capital, Qualitas Energy, Quilvest Capital, Temasek, Three Hills Capital, TPG, Vauban Infrastructure.
Thomas previously focused on M&A and secondary advisory at merchant bank Interregnum plc, on private equity and infrastructure at UBS Capital, the bank’s captive private equity fund. He started his career in the asset management industry at Kennet Partners/Broadview, focusing on minority investments in the TMT sector.
Thomas graduated with a BS from the University of Paris Dauphine and received his master’s degree from HEC Lausanne. He is a trustee for two veterans charities, and chairman of the French War Graves Commission in the UK.
