Campbell Lutyens appoints Matt Flynn and Rick Morioka as Principals
Campbell Lutyens, one of the leading global private capital advisors, has hired Matt Flynn and Rick Morioka as Principals on its fund placement team, in the US and Asia, respectively. These senior appointments reflect the continued growth of the firm internationally.
Matt has 12 years of placement agent experience, with a primary focus on the US market. He joins Campbell Lutyens from Credit Suisse Private Fund Group, where he was most recently a Director, focused on the origination and due diligence of private investment funds. Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a CFA Charterholder.
Rick brings more than 12 years of experience in alternatives and investment management, with a primary focus on the Japanese market. He was most recently a Principal in the investor engagement team at The Abraaj Group. Prior to this, Rick was a member of the fund of funds team at Ardian, where he was responsible for fund investments across Asia as well as fundraising and business development in Japan. Rick holds a BE and ME in Electronics, Information and Communication Engineering from Waseda University, and an MBA from INSEAD.
