Campbell Lutyens further expands US presence with opening of Chicago and Los Angeles offices

CATEGORY: Company
DATE: 27 March 2018

Campbell Lutyens, the leading global alternative asset adviser, today announced the opening of offices in Chicago and Los Angeles, to support the growth in demand for its fund placement and secondaries advisory businesses across North America. The firm now has five offices globally, with three in the US, including New York.

Campbell Lutyens’ US-based team has grown to 30 people and is currently advising on $14.5 billion of transactions for US clients. The firm has raised $16 billion in capital from North American LPs in the past three years, which represents over 40% of the total commitments it has raised globally across private equity, infrastructure and private debt.

“This is a logical next step for the firm, as we have seen a consistent increase in demand for both our fund placement and secondaries advisory services in North America,” said Chris Davidsson, Partner. “Having built a strong and deep network of LP relationships across this market over the past 15 years, we understand how a local presence enables us to better serve our clients. Our US business has played an important role in the growth of Campbell Lutyens and we expect this to increase going forward.”

“This expansion is an important milestone as Campbell Lutyens celebrates 30 years as a leading independent adviser,” said Andrew Sealey, Managing Partner and CEO. “Our increased US footprint will allow us to better serve our clients and support our continued growth over the coming years.”
