Breakthrough New York & Campbell Lutyens announce three-year partnership

Breakthrough New York and Campbell Lutyens are proud to announce a three-year partnership that will empower more students from low-income backgrounds to access and succeed in college and their careers.
Additionally, Breakthrough New York is pleased to announce the appointment of Gerald Cooper, Partner, to its Board of Directors, effective July 1, 2021.

Onofry, Breakthrough New York’s executive director. “This unique, long-term partnership will allow our students to enter the workforce even more prepared to make a positive impact, lead, and thrive.”
Gerald Cooper is a long-time member of the Breakthrough community and was honored at the 2017 annual gala. In his current role at Campbell Lutyens, he has built the North America secondaries team to become one of the largest and most respected in the industry. Gerald has advised on over $20 billion worth of secondary transactions for leading institutional investors and GPs. Prior to joining Campbell Lutyens, Gerald was Global Co-head of Secondary Advisory in the Private Funds Group at UBS, where he spent 12 years advising on secondary transactions. He previously worked at Advantage Capital Partners, Deutsche Bank and Bankers Trust Company in New York and Hong Kong.
