Placement agents were ranked based on how much newly originated capital was raised for funds - both closed and open-ended - from institutional investors in the 12 months to end of May 2023.

The ranking put focus on activity in Africa and the Middle East, where Campbell Lutyens also placed first with $3.41 billion raised.
