Clay McCoy joins Campbell Lutyens’ North American secondary advisory team
Campbell Lutyens is pleased to announce that Clay McCoy has joined as a Managing Director in the firm’s New York office, further strengthening its secondary advisory practice in North America.
Clay will be focused on North American infrastructure-related secondary transactions and brings with him more than 10 years of experience in this market, and financial services more broadly. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a Director within the Infrastructure, Power, and Renewables group at Solomon Partners and as a Vice President in the Power, Utilities, and Infrastructure group at RBC Capital Markets. Prior to this, Clay worked as an analyst in the securitization finance group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and as an auditor at Ernst & Young.
Globally, Campbell Lutyens’ secondaries team now comprises more than 60 professionals advising on a wide range of transactions, including continuation funds, tender offers, strip sales and fund financing. Since the start of 2021, the team has advised on c. $12 billion in infrastructure focused secondary transactions, including LP portfolio sales, GP-led transactions and co-investment raises.
