Campbell Lutyens recognised as global and regional leader across private markets asset classes

Campbell Lutyens, the world’s leading independent private capital advisor, has won awards in four categories across PEI Group publications, underlining the company’s strength as a placement agent and advisor across geographies and asset classes. The company has been recognised as:
• Winner: Placement Agent of the Year – Infrastructure Investor
• Winner: Advisor of the Year: APAC – Secondaries Investor
• Winner: Global Placement Agent of the Year – Private Debt Investor
• Winner: Placement Agent of the Year: Europe – Private Debt Investor
2025 marks the second year in a row that Campbell Lutyens has been recognised as Placement Agent of the Year at the Infrastructure Investor awards. These awards celebrate the firms, funds and transactions constituting best in class in infrastructure, as decided by the judging panel of Infrastructure Investor editors and senior editorial staff across PEI Group. Award winners are decided based on submissions, market sources and the judges’ insight.
2025 was a landmark year for Campbell Lutyens in infrastructure across primary fundraising, secondary transactions and GP-level capital advisory. Highlights for the practice in the judging period included, in primary fundraising, the successful close of Manulife Investment Management Fund III, which was oversubscribed with a final close at $5.5 billion, making it the largest in Manulife’s history; as well as, in secondary advisory, advising a global asset manager on a $1.5 billion single-asset continuation vehicle in the transportation sector. CL’s GP Capital Advisory practice also acted as financial advisor to TPG on its acquisition of Peppertree, a U.S.-based digital infrastructure specialist.
This award comes after Campbell Lutyens completed a clean sweep of global and regional categories at the IJ Global Investor Awards.
Campbell Lutyens has been awarded Secondaries Advisor of the Year in Asia Pacific for 2025 at the Secondaries Investor Awards, having advised APAC clients on secondary transactions for more than a decade and built a position of market leadership. The Secondaries Investor Awards celebrate market participants that have achieved outstanding success during the 12-month judging period, as determined by PEI’s senior editorial teams.
Across 2025, Campbell Lutyens’ APAC secondary advisory practice advised on over $10 billion of transaction volume across both GP-led and LP-led deals. The firm maintained clear market leadership in LP-led transactions in the region, including landmark transactions such as a $1.9 billion portfolio sale for Nan Shan Life and $2.3 billion across two portfolio sales for Fubon Life.
On the GP-led side, Campbell Lutyens advised Navis Capital Partners on a $230 million continuation fund comprising a portfolio of K-12 education assets, and QIC on an A$450 million growth equity fundraise for Australia’s largest remote energy platform, Pacific Energy Group.
Campbell Lutyens’ private credit practice is delighted to have been awarded Placement Agent of the Year for 2025 in both the Global and Europe categories for the Private Debt Investor awards. The awards programme celebrates the managers, institutional investors and advisors that have made a significant impact on the private debt market over the past year.
Campbell Lutyens has one of the most active practices advising private credit managers on their fundraising initiatives, secondary market liquidity and strategic decisions impacting private credit focused GPs at the management company level, including M&A. The judging period represents a record year for the practice, with highlights including supporting the successful fundraise of Apera Private Debt Fund III for Apera Asset Management. Securing total commitments of €2.9 billion, the fund represents a doubling in size over Apera’s previous private debt fund. Campbell Lutyens advised Kartesia on the €1.3bn final close of Kartesia Credit Opportunities VI. The firm has also established a leading position in the emerging private credit GP-led secondaries market, showcased by the completion of a $3 billion continuation vehicle for TPG Twin Brook established to acquire a portfolio of senior secured loans from earlier vintages. This remains one of the largest ever transactions in the emerging private credit secondaries market.
Celebrating these wins, Gordon Bajnai, CEO, said: “These awards, spanning regions, practices and asset classes, are testament to the depth and breadth of Campbell Lutyens today. Since our foundation in 38 years ago, we have grown from a London-based fund placement agent into the world’s leading independent private capital advisor, raising over $336bn for clients and advising $182bn secondary transactions. I’d like to thank all our colleagues around the world who have contributed to this success – long may it continue.”
